Head-to-Head
The Pats and Hurricanes face off in their final meeting of the 2012-13 Regular Season. Through three games, the Pats are 2-1-0-0 against the Hurricanes including a 3-2 win in Lethbridge before the Christmas break. Dyson Stevenson and Lane Scheidl lead the Pats into action with four points in the season series. Jamal Watson is the top point getter for the Hurricanes with three points in the three games this season. The Pats head into a busy week after splitting a home and home with Brandon on the weekend. Meanwhile, Lethbridge is in the midst of a tough stretch with a 3-5-0-2 record in its last ten games. Tonight's game will be broadcast on 620 CKRM starting with the Press Box Sports Bar Pre-Game Show at 6:35 p.m. as well as Access 7 with the broadcast beginning at 7:00 p.m. For tickets to tonight's game, visit ticketmaster.ca or call the Pats Office at 522-PATS for more information on Group Tickets.
Lead Up: Pats Can't Make it Two Against Brandon
The Wheat Kings jumped to a 2-0 lead in the first period before Braden Christoffer pulled the Pats back within one. Brandon upped the intensity in the second period and went on to stretch the lead to 4-1 in the middle period. Adam Brooks scored to make it a two goal game in the third but an empty netter sealed the 5-2 defeat. Ryan Pulock had five assists for Brandon in the win. For game highlights, click here.
Big Night Against the "ËCanes
Dyson Stevenson had all of his points in the season series the last time the Hurricanes visited the Brandt Centre. The Pats forward exploded for a hat-trick in the contest and added an assist for good measure. The night was Stevenson's first hat-trick and the first time he tallied more than two points in a game. The three goals are the most for a Pats player in a single game this season.
Battling the Injury Bug
The Pats have been fighting the injuries all season with 228 man games lost to injury through the season including 51 games missed by Dryden Hunt, 29 by Patrick D'Amico and 25 by Chandler Stephenson. The Pats added two names to the list after the past weekend with Luke Fenske and Jack Rodewald sustaining injuries against the Wheat Kings.
Jersey Raffles
Check out the North-West end of the concourse tonight for the Pats Game Worn Jersey Auction. A single ticket is just $2 while ten tickets are only $5. Each game until the end of the season features a new set of game worn jerseys.
