Fullerton, CA - (October 7th, 2008), Baseball America has named Orange County Flyers All Star Center Fielder Patrick Breen as the Indpenden Leagues Player of The Year for 2008. Breen beat out a lot of other players in other Independet leagues to earn this honor.

Breen was also named to Baseball America's All Independent Team along with fellow teamate Jermy Acey.
