This past week
Wednesday, January 18th Kootenay Ice 3 Regina Pats 2 OT
The Pats held leads of 1-0 and 2-1 at different points of the game, but the Ice were able come back each time and escape the Brandt Centre with a 3-2 overtime win. All three of the Ice goals came on the power play led by Sam Reinhart with 2 goals including the winner. Morgan Klimchuk scored both of the Regina Pats goals in the loss.
Friday, January 20th Medicine Hat Tigers 3 Regina Pats 2 OT
The Pats were able to climb back from a 2-0 first period deficit to force the game to overtime. In extra time, the Tigers Cole Grbavac scored the game winner for the 3-2 victory. Jordan Weal picked up a goal and an assist while Lane Scheidl picked up the other Pats goal in the defeat.
Saturday, January 21st Regina Pats 3 Moose Jaw Warriors 2 OT
The Pats won their second in a row over the Warriors as the blue and white had to claw back from a pair of one goal deficits for the 3-2 overtime victory. Lane Scheidl tied the game on a penalty shot in the third while Jordan Weal won the game 30 seconds into overtime.

Looking Ahead
Friday, January 27th - Broncos @ Pats 7:00pm Brandt Centre
This is the fourth of six meetings between the Pats and the Broncos this season with the Pats winning the first three meetings. 17 year old WHL rookie, Coda Gordon is second on the Broncos in scoring and is on the radar for the upcoming 2012 NHL Draft. He is the 38th ranked North American skater according to the Central Scouting mid-term rankings.
Friday is also Rick Rypien bobblehead night. Rick Rypien bobbleheads will be made available for a minimum donation of $2 to KidSport, limit one per person. Derek Boogaard t-shirts will also be available with all of the proceeds going to "Boogaard's Boogaardians."
