
Pargo Is the Ultimate Warrior in Win over Clippers

LAS VEGAS - The Santa Cruz Warriors (11-8) defeated the Agua Caliente Clippers (6-9), 105-91, on the final day of the 2019 MGM Resorts NBA G League Showcase.
Guard Jeremy Pargo led Santa Cruz to victory with 25 points, four rebounds and five assists in the today's game while reserve Juan Toscano-Anderson had a near double-double with 13 points and eight rebounds in 26 minutes. On assignment from the Golden State Warriors, center Alen Smailagic netted 24 points in 29 minutes. With the win, Santa Cruz improves to 11-8 on the 2019-20 season.
Santa Cruz ran an efficient offense, highlighted by 50 percent shooting from the field. The Warriors also had five players score in double figures and led by as many as 30.
The Clippers were paced by forward Johnathan Motley with a game-high 28 points along with nine rebounds. Guard Markel Crawford added 10 points in 22 minutes. After the loss, Agua Caliente drops to 6-9 on the season.
Santa Cruz finished the Showcase 2-0 and will visit the Stockton Kings on Dec. 28 at 10 p.m. ET. Agua Caliente closed out its Showcase 1-1 and next visits the Oklahoma City Blue on Dec. 27 at 8 p.m. ET. Both games will be available on NBAGLeague.com.
