
Paradis Reassigned to Toledo

Rockford, Ill. - Chicago Blackhawks General Manager of Minor League Affiliations Mark Bernard announced on Tuesday that the Chicago Blackhawks have reassigned forward Philippe Paradis from the AHL's Rockford IceHogs to the ECHL's Toledo Walleye.
The 21-year-old winger has appeared in 14 contests for Rockford this season, gathering two assists, a professional career-high 44 penalty minutes and a +2 plus/minus rating.
During the 2011-12 season, Paradis completed his first full professional campaign, notching 16 points (5g-11a) in 58 games for Rockford. Paradis also skated in four games for Rockford during the 2010-11 campaign, tallying one goal and two penalty minutes. The Normandin, Quebec native was named Rockford's Heavy Hitter in 2011-12 as well.
Before joining the IceHogs, Paradis had a brief four-game stint with the AHL's Toronto Marlies during the 2009-10 campaign. He also skated in 233 career contests with the Shawinigan Cataractes (2007-10) and the Prince Edward Island Rocket (2010-11) of the QMJHL while potting 77 career goals, 93 assists and 307 penalty minutes.
Next Home Game: Friday, Dec. 7 vs. Milwaukee Admirals: Game time is 7:05 p.m. The Admirals and IceHogs meet for the second time this season, both so far at the BMO"ËHarris Bank"ËCenter. The Midwest Division rivals will faceoff a total of 12 times this season, including five times in December.
