
Parada Going to Huntsville Flight

GREENVILLE, S.C., February 3 â The Huntsville Flight has acquired center Adam Parada from the NBA's National Basketball Development League player pool, according to an announcement by NBDL director of basketball operations Chris Alpert and Flight head coach Ralph Lewis. Parada fills the roster spot vacated by Bernard King, who is no longer with the team.
Parada, 7-0, 265, was in training camp this season with the Sacramento Kings after completing his collegiate career at the University of California-Irvine ('04). He averaged 9.0 points and 7.0 rebounds on the Kings summer league team.
A member of the Mexican National Team for the 2001 Goodwill Games, Parada's latest stop was with the Utah Snowbears of the ABA, where he averaged 13.2 points and 6.8 rebounds.
Parada is expected to be in uniform when the Flight is host to Asheville Friday at the Von Braun Center.
