Papasedero Benefit Slated

ORLANDO, Fla. (July 7, 2003) -- Wall Street Plaza (19 North Orange Ave.) will host a benefit street party for the Fran Papasedero Memorial Trust Fund on Thursday, July 17 from 5 – 10 p.m.

The event will feature complimentary appetizers and cocktails, live music, raffles, silent auction, dunk tank and other interactive games. The party will also include appearances by the Orlando Predators players, coaching staff and dance team. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Fran Papasedero Memorial Trust Fund, benefiting Fran's two-year-old daughter Vivian.

Tickets to the event are $20 and are available at the Orlando Predators Office (4901 Vineland Ave., Suite 150, Orlando) or may be purchased at any Wall Street Plaza restaurant or bar. Tickets may also be purchased by phone with a credit card (VISA, MasterCard, AMEX) by calling 407-447-PREDS. Tickets, if available, will be $25 at the door.

The Head Coach of the Orlando Predators for the past two seasons, Papasedero was tragically killed in a one-car automobile accident on June 19. He spent four seasons on the Predators coaching staff as an assistant, before taking over the Head Coaching job prior to the 2002 season. His 2003 team tied for the best record in the Arena Football League at 12-4 and he received votes for AFL Coach of the Year.
