Three Panther City players registered a hat trick, as the team poured in a season high 14 goals. The team also continued to play well on the man advantage as they went 3-5 (60%) on the power play.
Second-year forward Jonathan Donville was the spark for Panther City to start the game as he recorded three goals within the first 10 minutes of the game, as the two clubs traded goals throughout the opening frame, ending the first quarter tied at three goals apiece. Donville finished the evening with five points (3G/2A).
