Panther City Lacrosse Club News Release
Fort Worth, Texas - The Panther City Lacrosse Club (1-7) continue their homestand against the Calgary Roughnecks (2-4) at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth Sunday afternoon. Faceoff is set for 4 p.m. CT.
After missing the previous game against Vancouver, veteran transition player Jeremy Thompson returned to the faceoff circle with a vengeance, winning 13 of 17 (76%) of his faceoffs. His 81 faceoff wins are just three short of double Calgary's leading faceoff man, transition player Zach Currier.
The game against Calgary will be Head Coach Tracey Kelusky's first time facing the Roughnecks as a head coach, who he played eight seasons with. He won the Champions Cup with Calgary in both 2004 and 2009. In those eight seasons, Kelusky played in 113 games, tallying 539 points.
