
Panther City Lacrosse Club Acquires Second-Round Selection from Philadelphia Wings

Fort Worth, TX - The Panther City Lacrosse Club has acquired a second-round selection from the Philadelphia Wings that was originally acquired by Philadelphia from the Albany FireWolves. In exchange, the club will send defenseman Liam Byrnes to Philadelphia.
"We'd like thank Liam for his dedication and time spent with Panther City," Panther City Lacrosse Club General Manager Bob stated. "Liam was a great locker-room presence for us and helped build the foundation for our defense. We wish him nothing but the best in the future."
Byrnes, a five-year NLL veteran, has spent the previous two seasons with Panther City and had appeared in 30 games with the organization. In those 30 games, Byrnes has recorded 189 loose balls and 39 caused turnovers. Byrnes was originally acquired by Panther City from Philadelphia in the 2021 NLL Expansion Draft.
