Crystal Palace Baltimore News Release

Baltimore, MD - Crystal Palace Baltimore look to end a six-game winless streak on Saturday night as the second-placed Wilmington Hammerheads visit UMBC for a 7:00pm kick-off. Immediately following the game there will be a live concert performance by nationally renowned Christian alternative rock band Family Force 5 and Baltmore act Ashes Remain.

Palace can now concentrate on turning their league season around after being knocked out of the US Open Cup Wednesday night by the Ocean City Barons in a game postponed 24 hours due to a waterlogged pitch. Baltimore's last league encounter resulted in a 2-1 loss at Western Mass.

Palace currently sit in fifth spot in the standings, just two points behind Wilmington who are in second place. Wilmington got off to a strong start this season, but have faltered in recent weeks, dropping two of their last three decisions. In the earlier clash between the two teams at Legion Stadium back in early May, the Hammerheads clobbered Palace 3-0 on goals from Tim Karalexis, Jamie Watson and Jyler Noviello.

The Baltimore squad will still be without John Nusum due to his knee injury and Stephen Basso, who will be out for a week after undergoing hand surgery on Thursday. Wale Adelusimi is still not quite match-fit but Bryan Harkin and Jim Cherneski are expected to dress on Saturday.

Tickets will be available at the gate for the combined match and concert priced at $16. The gate and box office open at 6:00pm and the concert will end by 11:00pm.
