Crystal Palace Baltimore News Release
Blaine, Minn. - Still stinging from last Saturday's 3-1 loss, Crystal Palace Baltimore (3-7-3) head to Blaine, Minnesota on Sunday, July 4 for their second game in a row against the NSC Stars (6-8-2). Kicking off at 8:30 p.m., this is the second - and last - regular season fixture between the two teams, so Baltimore will no doubt look to return the favor in Minnesota.
If Sunday's game is anything like the teams' last matchup, fans might be treated to fireworks displays both on and off the field. The previous meeting was a four-goal, fifteen-stitch affair as the Stars returned with all three points and Minnesota Forward, Melvin Tarley, with fifteen fresh stitches.
Palace Baltimore's seventh loss of the season - and fourth at home - leaves them eight points adrift of Minnesota. But with nine of Baltimore's twelve points coming on the road, and with three games in hand, they will be eager to tap into their away form and cut into that deficit.
After the Minnesota match, Palace Baltimore are back on the road and head south to play the Puerto Rico Islanders in Bayamón on Saturday, July 9 at 8:05 p.m.
Palace Baltimore fans can follow both games (Minnesota Stars at 8:30 p.m and the Islanders at 8:05 p.m.) live on the clubs video page live.palacebaltimore.com starting shortly before the game.
