Crystal Palace Baltimore News Release

May 18th 2010 - Baltimore, MD - Crystal Palace Baltimore conclude their five-game road trip with a visit to the Rochester Rhinos on Wednesday night. The game takes place at Marina Auto Stadium in Rochester, New York with kickoff scheduled for 7:00pm Eastern.

Palace had been on a steadily improving run of form on the road, having won and tied their clashes at Portland and Vancouver respectively. But despite another strong performance at Austin on Sunday, Baltimore's record took a knock falling 2-1, leaving them at 1-4-1 for a total of four points and last place in the standings. Rochester meanwhile find themselves at 3-1-2 for 11 points and third spot in the 12-team USSF D-2 Pro League.

The Rhinos have won three of their last four outings and have lost only once all season, falling to the Portland Timbers in their second match of the campaign. Rochester have scored eight goals in their last four games, with Anthony Hamilton, Ryan Heins and Agustin Nunez each striking twice to lead the Rhinos' scoring chart. Baltimore have struggled to convert the many chances they create in every game, but have shown improvement recently with one goal in each of the last two matches, courtesy of Mathew Mbuta and Yaikel Perez. Evan Bush and the Palace defense had their two-game clean sheet streak ended in Austin.

"Although this is a stretch of many games over a short period of time, the guys seem to be fresh," remarked Palace Baltimore head coach Jim Cherneski from Rochester. "We had a good session today. I think we're going to go into tomorrow feeling very confident. We outplayed the Aztex on Sunday and if we keep our discipline defensively and play the way we did with the ball in Austin, I think we'll come away victors here. We're excited going into it and confident we can get a result."

Live video streaming of Sunday's game is scheduled to begin shortly before kickoff. Palace Baltimore fans can watch either on the club's video page - live.palacebaltimore.com - or on the Rhinos dedicated live video page - www.RhinosSoccer.tv
