MISSOULA, MT- The Missoula PaddleHeads were staring down a 5-0 deficit in the early going in Game 4 of this 6-game set with the Great Falls Voyagers. Having lost the first 3 games of the series, the PaddleHeads were in search of answers. Thanks to one of their biggest bats in the order, the Missoula attack found its groove.

Nich Klemp hit a clutch home run with 2-outs in the bottom of the 2nd to ignite a fire. This proved to spark a huge night of offensive success as the PaddleHeads scored runs in 7 straight innings. 7 players in the order tallied 2 hits or more in the game with the offense totaling 11 extra base hits. Great Falls battled from behind at one point cutting the deficit to 1 run in the 7th.

Missoula's bats proved to be too much to handle on this night however, scoring 12 unanswered runs in the final 3 innings en route to a 25-12 win.

The Voyagers got off to a quick start in the first 2 innings on their way to a 5-0 lead. Tommy Specht and Vincent Temesvary brought runs home with singles in the 1st. Blake Wilhoite, and Trey Cruz expanded the lead in the 2nd with a 2-run triple and an RBI single to take the early momentum. Wilhoite was very productive in the loss finishing 3-for-4 with a pair of runs scored.

Klemp's home run in the 2nd took on dead center field traveling over 430 to spark the home dugout making the score 5-2. Klemp tallied 3 RBIs in the game to bring his total on the season to 100. The designated hitter finished 3-for-6 in his at-bats.

Missoula erased the deficit in the 3rd thanks to a pair of singles. Derek Andiarena did his first damage in the inning with an RBI single through the left side. Elliot Good then provided a 2-out swing with a 2-run single to center to knot things up at 5. Andiarena finished with 6 RBIs in the win in a 4-for-7 night at the plate. Good knocked in 5 finishing 2-for-5.

The long ball lead Missoula to the lead for the first time in the 4th and 5th. Andiarena went yard in the 4th to start this trend tying the game once again at 7. Xavier Casserilla, and Enzo Apodaca then took on right field to give Missoula their first lead. After Casserilla's bomb in the 5th, the PaddleHeads held a 11-7 lead. Apodaca recorded 4 hits in the win while scoring 5 runs.

Casserilla's home run brought his total to 26 on the season which ranks 2nd in the Pioneer League.

Cruz punched back for the Voyagers in the top of the 7th highlighting a 4-run rally. His 3-run home run to left center field cut Missoula's advantage to 13-12. The shortstop finished 3-for-6 in the loss with 4 RBIs. Missoula's largest rally of the night came soon after this sequence taking the wind out of the Voyager's sails.

Missoula plated 8-runs in the bottom of the 7th turning the game on its head. 5 hits to knock in runs told the story with the PaddleHeads expanding their lead to 21-13. 4 straight hits with 2-outs also fanned the flames with Missoula expanding the lead. The PaddleHead's attack wasn't through.

Andiarena and Ty Yukumoto were a part of a 4-run rally to put the game on ice in the bottom of the 8th giving Missoula a 13 run lead. The 2nd baseman reached base 6 times slashing 2-for-2 with 4 walks. After this offensive performance, the PaddleHeads will look to build on this newfound momentum in Game 5 of the series.
