
Owner Hilton Koch Supports World Food Programme's Efforts to End World Hunger

HOUSTON (May 30, 2008) - Hilton Koch, owner of the Houston Comets and Hilton Furniture and Mattress will speak at The United Nation's Houston's Walk the World 2008 on June 1, 2008 at T.C. Jester Park. The United Nations' World Food Programme (WFP) partners with Tuner Network Television (TNT) to have the Houston community fundraise to help end world hunger.
Walk the World is a global annual fundraising event held in support of the United Nations' World Food Programme. TNT employees, corporate partners, families and friends will walk to raise funds to help thousands of children into school and out of hunger.
Houston, along with thirteen other cities in North America, will represent the United States' efforts as numerous cities around the world participate in the cause. Last year more than 531,000 TNT and WFP employees walked on May 13 in over 87 countries through 24 time zones in 24 hours to raise more than USD $1.4 million.
