Over 26,000 Tickets Sold for East Final

WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers may not know who they'll be facing in the East Final but fans are already scooping up tickets to the highly anticipated game. The Winnipeg Football Club has announced today that over 26,000 tickets have already been sold for the game which will be played on Sunday, November 20th at 12 Noon.

The Blue Bombers clinched first place on Saturday night for the first time since 2001, by finishing the regular season with a 10-8 record and having won the season series against the Montreal Alouettes.

"To have the chance to play in front of our home fans in the East Final is a tremendous accomplishment," said Blue Bomber President, Jim Bell. "Our fans have been extremely supportive all season long, as made evident by the seven straight sell-outs, and have made this a very difficult place for visiting teams to come and play. The atmosphere and enthusiasm that our fans have brought to the stadium this year has not gone unnoticed by our players and I believe we can count on those same fans to take this to yet another level come gameday. Not only will this game determine who will represent the East in the Grey Cup, but it will also be a fitting way to say goodbye to Canad Inns Stadium one last time."

Tickets to the East Final are available by visiting www.ticketmaster.ca or by calling 1-855-BOMBERS. A reminder to season ticket holders that their playoff ticket was included in this year's season ticket packages.
