
Outlaws to Serve as Celebrity Waiters at BWW on Thursday

Mason City (IA) The North Iowa Outlaws will serving up plates of appetizers, burgers and of course chicken wings this Thursday night when members of the team work as waiters at the Mason City Buffalo Wild Wings. Starting at 6:30pm on Thursday, 15% of the sales Buffalo Wild Wings takes in will be donated to the United Way's North Iowa chapter.
"The United Way is a great charity and this event fits right in with our mission this year to help out as many groups and organizations as possible" said Outlaws' Director of Communications Scott Montesano.
The event at Buffalo Wild Wings will conclude a "Day of Action" the Outlaws are doing with the help of the United Way. Starting in the morning with players reading to kids at the Charlie Brown daycare in Mason City and continuing with players assisting the North Central Iowa Habitat for Humanity with a project in the afternoon, the Outlaws will be volunteering their time all day.
The Outlaws return to action on Friday and Saturday at the North Iowa Ice Arena when they take on the North American Hockey League, Central Division leading Bismarck Bobcats at 7:30pm.
The North Iowa Outlaws Hockey Club is in its fourth season as members of the North American Hockey League. The NAHL is the nation's largest Junior A hockey league and is now in its 33nd year of operation. For more information, visit northiowaoutlaws.com or call (641) 424-5468.
