Outlaws to Host United Bowl Saturday at 7 p.m.

The Billings Outlaws advanced to their second consecutive United Bowl with their 53-42 Intense Conference Championship game victory over the Arkansas Diamonds on Saturday night in front of a sold out and raucous crowd at the Billings SportsPlex Saturday night.

Chris Dixon threw eight touchdown passes -- four of which went to Mr. Saturday Night, James Walton. Dixon completed 19 of 25 passes for 191 yards and no interceptions.

The Diamonds, who brought the league's top defense into the conference title game, allowed 34 first half points which was three more than the team from North Little Rock, Arkansas was allowing per game.

Diamonds quarterback Brian Jones completed 19 of 39 passes for four touchdowns, however last weeks offensive player of the week was picked off three times.

Jovan Jackson recorded two interceptions, while Michael Eby recorded one.

Billings host their second straight United Bowl and third in five years, next Saturday at 7 p.m. against the Sioux Falls Storm.

The teams have met twice this season, with both winning in their home arenas.
