Outlaws Looking for Huskies Memorabilia to Celebrate 20th Anniversary

Mason City (IA) In preparation for celebrating the 20th anniversary of the former North Iowa Huskies' Junior A National Championship later this season, the North Iowa Outlaws are asking fans for any old memorabilia, programs, pocket schedules, etc. they may have from the days of the Huskies in Mason City.

The Outlaws are looking for items from the 1989-1990 season in particular, but any old merchandise will also be useable. Items could include photos, autographs, advertisements and newspaper clippings that were saved, etc.

All items will be returned.

All fans who provide an item will receive a FREE Outlaws' ticket for a game later in the season, and be entered into a drawing for a free weekly pass to the 2009 NAHL Robertson Cup Tournament. Fans who provide items from the 1989-1990 season in particular will be entered into the Robertson Cup drawing twice automatically.

Items can be brought to the Outlaws' office during regular business hours (9am-5pm, Monday-Friday) or during any home game. The deadline is January 15th.

The North Iowa Outlaws Hockey Club is in its fourth season as members of the North American Hockey League. The NAHL is the nation's largest Junior A hockey league and is now in its 33nd year of operation. For more information, visit northiowaoutlaws.com or call (641) 424-5468.
