
Outlaws Hit Road for Month Long Road Trip

In a very pivotal point in the season, the North Iowa Outlaws are hitting the road for a month of tough games in their quest for the Central Division crown. The Outlaws, who currently holds an 18 point lead on both Southern Minnesota and Springfield, open the road trip this weekend with a three game series in Springfield. Over the course of the next few weeks the Outlaws will make two long road trips to Springfield and a trip south to Topeka for a meeting with the Roadrunners.
North Iowa has the season series advantage 4-1 with five games remaining, all during this road trip. The Jr. Blues have a game in hand on the Outlaws, who have played 45 games thus far of their 58 game schedule. North Iowa can look to further themselves with wins in their three opening games of the road trip, beginning Friday at 7:30. Games two and three of the weekend are on Saturday at 7:00 pm and Sunday at 2:00 pm.
After Springfield, North Iowa will take off to Topeka, Kansas for their first ever meeting with the Topeka Roadrunners, formally the Santa Fe Roadrunners. Topeka sits in the second spot in the South Division, trailing Wichita Falls. Following the trip to Topeka, the Outlaws will return to Springfield for the final two games of the series against the Jr. Blues.
On March 14th they will return home for the final four home games of the regular season, two against the Southern Minnesota Express and a pair against the Fargo Moorhead Jets. North Iowa finishes the season in Alexandria, MN on March 28th & 29th.
