OurSports Central Names UFL PLayers of the Week

Virginia Destroyers running back Dominic Rhodes, Destroyers linebacker Tony Taylor and Las Vegas Locomotives kicker Clint Stitser were named the OurSports Central United Football League Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively, for week four of the UFL season.

Rhodes carried the ball 18 times for a UFL record 217 yards and three touchdowns and added three receptions for 17 yards in the Destroyers 28-6 victory over the Sacramento Mountain Lions. Rhodes played 9 seasons in the NFL, eight with the Indianapolis Colts and one season with the Oakland Raiders from 2001-10.

Taylor contributed 5.5 total tackles and two interceptions in the Destroyers win over the Mountain Lions. Taylor played in the NFL with the Atlanta Falcons in 2008.

Stitser was 3-3 on field goals (24, 34 and 45 yards), 3-3 on PAT's and had one touchback on a kickoff in the Las Vegas Locomotives 30-10 victory over the Omaha Nighthawks. Stitser played in five games in the NFL for the Cincinnati Bengals last season.
