OurSports Central Names UFL Players of the Week

Florida Tuskers quarterback Chris Greisen, Tuskers cornerback Darrius Vinnett and Florida kicker Nick Novak were named the OurSports Central United Football League Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively, for week ten of the UFL season.

Greisen completed 17 of 26 throws for 200 yards and one touchdown pass in the Tuskers 27-10 victory over the Omaha Nighthawks. Greisen played three seasons in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals from 1991 to 2001 and one season in NFL Europe with the Rhein Fire in 2003. He also competed for af2's Green Bay Blizzard in 2004 and battled in the Arena Football League with the Dallas Desperados, Georgia Force and Milwaukee Iron from 2005 to 2010.

Vinnett had three tackles, two interceptions with one of them being returned 45 yards for a touchdown in the Tuskers' victory over the Nighthawks. Vinnett played for the St. Louis Rams in the 2007 season.

Novak, who earned honors for the second straight week, was 3-3 on extra points and 2-2 on field goals (46 & 51 yards) in the Tuskers' victory over the Nighthawks. Novak played in the NFL with the Washington Redskins, Arizona Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs from 2005 to 2008.

Week Nine - Sacramento's Cory Ross (offensive), Florida's Terrence Melton (defensive), Florida's Nick Novak (special teams)
