Evansville Otters Pitcher Max Duval

EVANSVILLE, IN - The Evansville Otters played in a thrilling weekend doubleheader, winning both games and celebrating the 2006 Frontier League Championship team, but the big news of the weekend was that Otters starting pitcher, Max Duval, was signed Saturday by the Arizona Diamondbacks. Duval consistently pitched stellar performances for Evansville, finishing his Frontier League stint with a stat line of 43 innings pitched, 42 strikeouts, and 4.39 ERA in 7 games started. The Otters will lose their opening day starter, but can look forward to watching Duval pursue his dream in the Majors.
