OTTAWA - The Ottawa Sports Hall of Fame is pleased to welcome six (6) new inductees into the Hall of Fame.Three athletes and three builders will be inducted into the Ottawa Sports Hall of Fame at the 2005 Induction Ceremony to be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at 5:00 pm in the Salons of the Ottawa Civic Centre. Join Emcee Sylvie Bigras as she joins the Hall in honouring Ottawa's great sports heritage and the local sports heroes:
Tickets are $50.00 for adults and $25.00 for students and may be obtained by contacting Jennifer Purdy at 613-564-2675.
The 2005 Inductees and Ottawa Sports Hall of Fame Trustees will be available to the media for interviews from October 11th up to the event and during the 5:00 pm reception.
