Ottawa SkyHawks News Release
The Ottawa SkyHawks changed their roster line up today cutting the 6'8 forward, Demetrius Jemison. Jemison played for both Germany and the United Kingdom before coming to Ottawa this fall and joining the SkyHawks. Jemison, now a free agent will head back home to Alabama this week.
Coach Kevin Keathley said, "Very fortunate to have had Demetrius during training camp and our first three weeks of the season. He is a big time talent and high character individual. This isn't a basketball operations move but a business one. Demetrius will be someone, if available, that we will most likely see back in a SkyHawks uniform down the road. I wish him nothing but continued success in his career."
The Ottawa SkyHawks are now preparing for their next game on the road this Thursday against the Brampton A's, and return to Ottawa for back to back home games against the Island Storm (PEI) on Friday November 22nd at 7:30 pm, and the Mississauga Power on Saturday November 23rdat 7:30 pm.
