Ottawa Fury FC Set to Celebrate the Beautiful Game with I HEART SOCCER Week

OTTAWA - With summer days winding down, Ottawa Fury FC is dedicating a full week to celebrate the beautiful game with the I HEART SOCCER Week. From Monday, August 13 to Sunday, August 19, Fury FC offers a week packed with free events and opportunities for fans to connect with their favourite pro-soccer players.
To kick off the I HEART SOCCER Week celebrations, fans of all ages are invited to attend a Fury Fan Fest at TD Place on Monday where, starting at 6 p.m., they will enjoy an evening filled with games and prizes, as well as a chance to meet Fury FC players.
On Thursday night (August 16, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.), in what is sure to be a highlight of the I HEART SOCCER Week, the Fury FIT program is welcoming Ottawa Blind Soccer to TD Place for a one of a kind clinic. Participants ages 9 and over are invited to register for free and come try something unique and share their experience with athletes from Ottawa Blind Soccer and Ottawa Fury FC.
Sprinkled throughout the week, soccer fans all over the city will be able to share Fury FC's love for the beautiful game during various community events such as Sparky's Blitz, a surprise community give back afternoon and the Eastern Regional Soccer League Shield and Cup Finals held at TD Place.
In addition to all the free events taking place during I HEART SOCCER Week, Ottawa Fury FC will also be continuing their fight for a USL playoff spot with two crucial matches played in front of the home crowd at TD Place. Wednesday, August 15, Fury FC will host the Richmond Kickers in a mid-week showdown (KO 7 p.m.), while it will be Indy Eleven visiting our boys in black and red on Saturday afternoon (2 p.m.).
