(OSHAWA, ON) Durham's team, the Oshawa Power announce the release of forward, Amani Daanish to pursue playing opportunities overseas.
Daanish was the Power's second round selection in the 2012 NBL Canada Draft and played in all 12 games where he was the team's third leading scorer with 15.3 ppg and third in rebounding with 5.5 rpg.
"I'm appreciative to the Power organization and particularly the fans who welcomed me with open arms from the start", said the 6'8" power forward. "It was a difficult decision to make because I really enjoyed my time here but this opportunity was too good to pass up. I wish them nothing but success moving forward."
