
Orlando's Toliver, Colorado's Oliver, And Dallas' Pettis Earn Week 7 Honors

NEW YORK - Orlando Predators WR T.T. TOLIVER, Colorado Crush DB RASHAD FLOYD, and Dallas Desperados WR/DB WILL PETTIS have been named Offensive Player, ADT Defensive Player, and Ironman of the Week, respectively, for Week 7 of the 2008 season.
OFFENSIVE: Toliver (5-10, 175, Bethune-Cookman) recorded a game-high 12 receptions for a Week 7 high of 181 yards, and accounted for four touchdowns (three receiving, one rushing) as the Orlando Predators (5-2) defeated the Grand Rapids Rampage (2-4), 75-56, on Sunday. Toliver registered receiving touchdowns of 30, 10 and 43 yards along with a 28-yard rushing touchdown that currently stands as the second-longest run from scrimmage in the League this season. The Predators offense scored on 11 of 13 possessions, while Toliver's 181-yard performance ranks fifth-highest in the League in 2008. The Predators travel to The Arena at Gwinnett Center to take on the Georgia Force (3-3) in a Mitsubishi Motors Southern Division matchup on Saturday, April 19 at 7 p.m. ET (AFL NET, CSS - Live, WRDQ-TV - Live).
ADT DEFENSIVE: Floyd (6-0, 180, Portland St.) registered 10 tackles, two interceptions, 1.5 tackles for loss, and one pass defensed as the Colorado Crush (3-3) defeated the Cleveland Gladiators (3-3), 69-66 on Friday at Quicken Loans Arena. Floyd recorded interceptions on consecutive Gladiator possessions to begin the fourth quarter which resulted in 10 Crush points and turned a tie game into a 62-52 lead that Colorado would not relinquish. Floyd's first interception came on the third play of the fourth quarter, as he intercepted a pass by Cleveland QB RAYMOND PHILYAW in the end zone, resulting in a touchback. Floyd also notched two red zone tackles in the first quarter on the Crush's four and three-yard lines, resulting in a Colorado defensive stop. The Crush travel to the Sprint Center to face the Kansas City Brigade (0-6) in a Mitsubishi Motors Central Division matchup on Saturday, April 19 at 6 p.m. ET (KSMO-TV Local - Live, ESPN360.com, FSN Rocky Mountain Local - Delay at 8:30 p.m. MT).
IRONMAN: Pettis (6-0, 200, Midwestern St.) posted a game-high 10 receptions for 129 yards and accounted for six touchdowns (five receiving, one rushing) as the Dallas Desperados (7-0), defeated the New Orleans VooDoo (5-2), 55-44, at American Airlines Center on Saturday. Pettis recorded receiving touchdowns of seven, 30, 26, nine and one along with a one-yard rushing score as he matched the VooDoo in touchdowns with three during the second half. Pettis also notched two tackles on defense as the Desperados held New Orleans to its second-lowest offensive output of the season (262 yards). The Desperados have a bye in Week 8, but travel to the Wachovia Center to face the Philadelphia Soul (7-0) in a Mitsubishi Motors Eastern Division battle for first place in Week 9 on Russell Athletic ESPN Arena Football Monday, April 28 at 8 p.m. ET (ESPN2 HD, ESPN360.com).

Ironman of the Week candidates included: Chicago WR/LB DeJuan Alfonzo, Los Angeles FB/LB Josh Jeffries, Orlando FB/LB Marlon Moye-Moore and Philadelphia FB/LB Clifton Smith.
