
Orlando's Nick Hill Voted AFL National Guard MVP

TULSA, Okla. - Orlando Predators QB NIck Hill (6-3, 215, Southern Illinois) has been named the National Guard MVP of the Week, as voted on by fans, for his performance in Week 13 of the 2011 AFL season.
Hill received 63 percent of the votes on Facebook after leading his team to a 77-61 road victory over the Iowa Barnstormers. Hill completed 24 of 34 passes for eight touchdowns, tying his own franchise record for the third time this season. Hill totaled 295 yards through the air, while also rushing for 56 yards.
The Predators (8-3) host the in-state rival Jacksonville Sharks (10-1) on Saturday, June 11 at 7:30 p.m. EST.
Other candidates for the award included Chicago WR/DB Vic Hall and New Orleans WR Skyler Green.
Preds WR Bobby Sippio was named Russell Athletic Offensive Player of the Week and DB Travis Coleman was named the Riddell Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.
