Orlando Predators News Release

Orlando, FL. - The Orlando Predators (4-2) fell behind early Saturday night at Amway Center and never recovered as they lost 70-58 to the Spokane Shock (2-4).

Spokane found success behind the arm of quarterback Kyle Rowley, who threw for 293 yards and eight touchdowns. Rowley also managed to find the end zone twice on the ground. Shock receivers Raul Vijil and Shaun Kauleinamoku led Spokane with a combined 14 receptions for 184 yards and every one of Rowley's eight touchdown tosses.

Orlando's Nick Hill completed 23 of 41 passes for 299 yards and four scores and ran for an additional 57 yards and two touchdowns. Josh Bush, who was among two receivers filling in for injured T.T. Toliver and Bobby Sippio, proved to be Hill's favorite target with 11 receptions for 162 yards and four touchdowns.

The Shock took an early 14-0 lead in the first quarter following a Predators fumble and held a comfortable lead for the majority of the game. The Predators managed to keep things close at times, but the Spokane offense was too much as Orlando was never able to rally back.

The Predators will travel to Jacksonville on Saturday to take on the division-rival Sharks. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. The game can be viewed on NFL Network, NiFTY Online TV and heard on 740AM The Game.
