Orlando Predators DB Rayshaun Kizer and WR/LB Robert Quiroga Honored

ORLANDO, Fla. - The AFL handed out its weekly awards late Tuesday and following Orlando's impressive 68-53 victory over the Utah Blaze this past Saturday, two Predators were tapped with honors.

DB Rayshaun Kizer was named the Riddell Defensive Player of the Week while WR/LB Robert Quiroga was named the JLS Ironman of the Week. Preds QB Nick Hill was nominated as the Russell Athletic Offensive Player of the Week.

RIDDELL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Kizer (5-10, 190, Walsh) led the Predators with 10 tackles, three interceptions, two pass breakups and a forced fumble in Orlando's 68-53 win over Utah. He leads the league in interceptions with four on the season.

JLS IRONMAN OF THE WEEK Quiroga

(6-2, 210, Baylor) caught eight balls for 103 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Predators 63-53 victory over the Blaze. He made his presence felt on the defensive side of the ball as well, coming up with 3.5 tackles on the night. He also returned two kicks for 15 yards in the game.
