Orlando City SC News Release
ORLANDO - October 23, 2014 - The Orlando City Foundation's (OCF) PlayBingo Ladies Luncheon will mark the Foundation's final event in 2014, providing women in Central Florida with an opportunity to dine in style and win exclusive prizes.
Scheduled to occur on November 8, 2014, PlayBingo will take place at the Rosen Plaza Hotel at 11 a.m.
Hosted by Fox 35 anchor Amy Kaufeldt and WESH 2 meteorologist Amy Sweezey, the unique luncheon will offer women the chance to compete in Bingo, a contest near and dear to all, while winning incredible prizes.
Tiffany and Co. will be on hand to award prizes to the table of ladies with the most unique and creative attire, with themes including Tiaras and Boas, 80's Prom, Fiesta, Mardi Gras, Princesses, Kentucky Derby and Masquerade.
"We're delighted to host our final function of the year with a brand new ladies event," said Orlando City Director of Community Relations Kay Rawlins. "PlayBingo will allow women in Central Florida to come together for a unique fun-filled event with fantastic prizes and themes."
The previous events hosted by the Foundation this year have been highly successful in raising funds, enhancing its ability to continue supporting charities and organizations that improve the lives of children in Central Florida.
The most recent event held by the OCF, a celebrity golf tournament, raised over $40,000 - marking the third consecutive Foundation event to double the amount produced in 2013.
