Orange County Gladiators News Release

Irvine, CA. December 19, 2006 - Today it was announced that the Orange County Gladiators publicly unveiled their new team logo. This is the first in a number of significant steps for the team in establishing the team identity within the community. With the logo in place, the team is now working on finalizing merchandising agreements and soon making team gear available. Additionally there will be a major press conference in January to announce the team venue, partnership agreements and the introduction of key team staff.

About The Gladiators

The Orange County Gladiators are one of the newest entries into the American Basketball Association (ABA), the premier minor league in North America with over 50 teams playing in 3 countries. The team will be an active participant in the community with a mission of providing quality entertainment suitable for the entire family at affordable prices with accessibility to players, coaches, cheer and staff at every home game. The team will commence play in November of 2007 and is currently working diligently towards building a championship caliber team both on and off the court.

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
