Orange County Flyers To Hold Spring Training At Gary Carter Field

Fullerton, CA- Gary Carter, Hall-of-Famer and Fullerton native, will take another step towards finalizing his Orange County Flyers 2008 roster as Spring Training kicks off this Monday at Gary Carter Field located at Sunny Hills High School in Fullerton.

Darrell Evans and Dan DiPace, who both coached the Long Beach Armada to a 2007 Second Half Golden Baseball League Championship and joined the Flyers coaching staff this off season, will assist Carter in determining the 22-man roster.

Spring training begins at 11am each day May 12 through May 21 at Sunny Hills High School and is open to the general public free of charge.

The Flyers open their season on the road at Reno on May 23 and return for their home opener against the Yuma Scorpions on June 10 at Goodwin Field on the Campus of Cal State Fullerton.
