
Orange County Flyers Announce Spring Training Exhibition Schedule

FULLERTON, Calif. (5/15/2009) - The Orange County Flyers, the 2008 Golden Baseball League champions, would like to invite everyone to check out the team at Spring Training as it prepares to defend its league title.
"We're just excited to get the season going," said new Flyer manager Phil Nevin. "It's great to be in uniform and working with a great bunch of guys and also be back here in my home of Orange County. We're looking forward to a great, entertaining season, giving the fans great quality baseball."

May 15 1 p.m. Intra-squad Fullerton College

The Flyers open the 2009 season May 25 on the road in Chico and begin their 37 game home season on June 9 against the Victoria (B.C.) Seals at Goodwin Field at Cal State Fullerton. The Opening Night will feature fireworks, passing out of the Championship Rings and hanging the GBL Championship Banner.
