Joliet JackHammers News Release
It is with great enthusiasm that I tell you, Opening Week is upon us! This Friday night, May 28th, your Joliet JackHammers will play their first home game of the 2010 championship season at 7:10 PM at the extraordinary Silver Cross Field in downtown Joliet.
There is a great deal of excitement and energy surrounding the NEW Joliet JackHammers. We are so proud to belong to a community that has provided unwavering support to our organization through all of the ups and downs we have encountered since our inaugural season of 2002.
As we begin this 2010 season, we are looking to the community and all of the members of JackHammer Nation more than ever! We are calling on you to buy tickets, book groups, spread the word about your beloved JackHammers to friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors. We are asking you to visit www.jackhammerbaseball.com and the JackHammer Pro Shop, where you will find all new hats, t-shirts, and jerseys. Finally we hope that you tune in to WJOL AM 1340 to listen to the JackHammers when they're on the road or when you can't make it out to the ballpark.
We are fortunate to have a FANtastic community to host the JackHammers, with FAN-omenal people who truly care about making this area a great place to work and live. We have been honored to be your professional baseball team for eight seasons and are asking for your continued support to make the 9th season of JackHammer baseball the BEST yet! So FAN UP for the JackHammers, and we look forward to seeing you this summer at Silver Cross Field!
