Opening Night in the FHL Features Demonz at Outlaws
October 24, 2012 - Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL) News Release
The Federal Hockey League kicks off season three tonight as the reigning Champion Outlaws take on the leagues newest member, the Dayton Demonz.
The Demonz are coached by Marc Lefebvre who started last season as the head coach of the Privateers and finished the season as a player in the SPHL. Coach Lefebvre has worked feverishly during the off season to put together what looks like a very impressive group of players on paper. Time will tell how they will gel as a team.
The Outlaws moved their team from Wayne NJ to Williamsport PA, home of the Little League World Series. They will be playing in a brand new rink, OUTSIDE. That's right folks, outside. Due to the lead time needed for constructing an indoor facility, The team front office along with FHL Commissioner Don Kirnan and Mayor Gabe Campana, decided an out door rink would be a great way to kick off ice sports in the city. You will see alot of new faces for the Outlaws this season as many of the players have moved on to AA and Europe.
