PEORIA, Ill. (June 30, 2010) - The Peoria Rivermen will open the 29th season of professional hockey in Peoria on Friday, Oct. 8 when they begin the 2010-11 American Hockey League season at Carver Arena. The team has also announced their 13-game plans, the Schedule Preview Package and the undated Flex Plans are now all on sale.

The first batch of confirmed Rivermen home dates are as follows:

Saturday, November 20

Friday, December 31

Saturday, January 15

Fans can lock in their same great seat location for each of the five dates as part of Peoria's Schedule Preview Package that starts at just $70. The 13-game plans start as low as $169 and come with benefits that include a preseason private reception with the team, special merchandise discounts and more. The undated Flex Plans allow fans to use 10 tickets in any combination to any game this season for as low as $140. Complete pricing information is listed below.

Opponents and start times for these games will be announced when the complete 2010-11 American Hockey League schedule is released this summer. In operation since 1936, the AHL will again serve as the top development league for all 30 National Hockey League teams when its 75th season gets underway on Friday, Oct. 8.
