Open Tryout Venue Changed

SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah Blaze have announced a change in the time and location of its November 10th tryout. The team will hold tryouts at the University of Utah indoor facility (Spence Eccles Field House) from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
"A late change in availability gave us the option to switch venues," said Head Coach Ron James. "The University of Utah indoor facility is home to the Blaze and it's where we practice every day. We want all potential players to have the benefit of getting acclimated to our practice environment early in the process."
Spence Eccles Field House is located at 650 South Guardsman Way (1580 East) in Salt Lake City. The surface at the venue is field turf - participants should wear appropriate shoes and workout attire.
The cost of the open tryout is $60 for those who pre-register with payment online (http://bit.ly/U6OLzj) and $80 at the door on the day of the event. Participants are required to sign a waiver form prior to participation.
Head Coach Ron James and his staff will be on hand to evaluate all positions in attendance, with the exception of kickers*. Prospects will be tested in the 40-yard dash, broad jump and short shuttle, followed by position-specific drills. All quarterbacks, wide receivers, defensive backs, offensive linemen, defensive linemen and linebackers are encouraged to attend.

DETAILS
Tryout is open to all positions, Blaze T-Shirt will be provided at the workout. Surface is Field Turf, bring appropriate shoes and workout attire. Participants are required to sign a waiver form prior to participation. Testing will include: 40-yd Dash, 20-yd Shuttle, Broad Jump. Drills included: Individual, 1 on 1, Skelly (Skilled), Group (Linemen/Backs)
*The Utah Blaze will host a separate workout for kickers at a later date
