City Fans, thank you.

Your voices were heard. Loud and clear. From your calls, tweets and letters before the vote - to the outpouring of emotion during yesterday's public testimonies - you made a huge impact in local officials' decision to support our stadium project.

Let there be no doubt. You, the fans, have been the driving force behind this effort to bring MLS to Orlando.

Both Flavio and I have been blown away by both the amount and type of support you've demonstrated. So many of you spoke eloquently on our behalf - and talked from the heart about what Orlando City means to you. We are both so proud to be associated with each and every one of you.

Together, with the help of our partners at the City of Orlando and Orange County, we forever changed the landscape of our community last night by finalizing plans to build a new Major League Soccer stadium.

I said in my speech on Tuesday, "Nothing is as powerful as an idea whose time has come." The time has come for MLS to Orlando and Flavio and I are so excited to share the journey with you.

The Future is Bright. The Future is Purple. Thank You!!!
