Burlington Bees News Release
Burlington, IA (March 12, 2013) - The Burlington Bees are pleased to announce that the annual Open House and National Anthem Tryouts will take place on Saturday, March 30th from 1-4 PM.
The Open House allows fans to walk around the ballpark, and go into places at Community Field normally not open to the public including both clubhouses. A select menu will be available for purchase at the concession stand. Fans can also purchase season and single-game tickets that day.
At that same time, the Bees will host open National Anthem tryouts at Community Field. Each participant will have the chance to sing the national anthem with a live microphone on the field to simulate a game-day performance. Anyone who has sung the National Anthem at a Bees game in the past does not need to tryout again.
The Bees home opener is April 4th when the Bees take on the Clinton LumberKings at 6:30 PM. For more information or to purchase tickets, please log onto www.gobees.com or call the office at (319) 754-5705.
