Open Cup Berth One Game Away

INDIANAPOLIS, IN-After a double overtime draw at Kuntz Stadium against the El Paso Patriots on May 9th, the Blast depart for El Paso Friday in search of their first ever Lamar Hunt US Open Cup Berth. With the score tied 2-2 after the first match, Friday's winner will advance to the third round of the Open Cup along with seven other A-league teams.

The Blast will remain in El Paso, TX over the weekend and will return to the Sun Bowl Sunday evening for the Blast's third match against the Patriots in four games.

NEXT HOME GAME-The Blast's next home game will be May 31st at 7:35pm. In partnership with Univision, Fanta, and Papa John's Pizza, the Blast are hosting their second annual I"Noche Latina con el Indiana Blast"! (Latino Night). The event will kick off at 10:00am with two "Copa México de Fútbol 2003" matches followed by a FREE pre-game clinic put on by several of the Blast players. The Blast have created a festival atmosphere with LIVE music before the Blast game from Tresuno-7 (Threeone-7), a local Latino Band.

$5 admission, all ages (3 and under = Free) from 9:30AM - 6:00PM. Includes admission to both "XI Copa México de Fútbol 2003" games and admission to Blast vs. El Paso game.

6:00PM, when gates open for general admission, ticket prices will revert to $9/adults, $5/students (under 18), or the standard price for an Indiana Blast game.

INDIANA BLAST SOCCER CAMPS-Don't forget to register your soccer player in the only soccer camp in Indiana where you can Learn from the Pros! Students will receive a week of instruction from Blast players and coaches, a camp T-shirt and sports bottle, a written evaluation of their skills, and a ticket to an upcoming Blast game. Blast camps are sure to be in your neighborhood with eight different venues throughout Central Indiana.
