Ontario Warriors News Release

Ontario, CA. Brenton A. Hagood, CEO of the ABA Ontario entry into the professional basketball team today announced both head coach and team. "We've selected Eric Cooper to be our head coach. Eric brings eight years of coaching experience to the team including a stint with the former Southern California Surf of the ABA. He has also served as an assistant with the Phoenix Mercury of the WNBA and is the brother of former WNBA MVP, Cynthia Cooper. We are very fortunate to have as our coach. As the owner of a pro basketball team comprised of former college players that travel the world playing games and mentoring children, he understands the important of having a good team on and off the court."

Cooper added, "It's quite possible that a few of my players could end up on this ABA team and of course, we're going to be going after top area players as well as those released by the NBA. We'll be competitive - and we'll make the community proud."

Hagood concluded, "And, we've named the team the Ontario Warriors and have introduced a dynamic new logo. We should have a complete line of merchandise available shortly.

The new Ontario Warrior website should be on-line this weekend (www.ontariowarriors.com). For more information about season tickets, tryout camps, staffing, etc. call 866-ABA-0010 or email ontbinns@aol.com.
