
On-Ice Officials Announced for CHL Playoffs

GLENDALE, AZ (March 28, 2012) - The Central Hockey League's (CHL) Ray Miron Presidents' Cup playoffs are set to begin on Wednesday night with the Evansville IceMen visiting the Missouri Mavericks in Game One of their best-of-7 series. In all, eight teams will battle for the honor of hoisting the Cup in three rounds of playoff series'. Today, the CHL's Hockey Operations Department announced the on-ice officials that will be working the post-season games.
The referees that will be working in the post-season are Zak Blazic, Boone Bruggman, Brent Coulombe, Steve Cruickshank, Kevin Curtis, Tudor Floru, Marc-Andre Lavoie, Kevin Mallin, Chris Pitoscia, Brett Sheva and Peter Tarnaris.
The linesmen earning post-season appointment are Jordan Crowell, Kyle DeMaggio, John Duncan, John Grandt, Paul Jene, Bill McGoldrick, Aaron Mills, Shaun Morgan, T.J. Nua, Brian Oliver, Cory Piche, James Sanders, Terry Saunders, Randy Sappo and Matt Tyree.
"We are very pleased to announce the gentlemen that will be working the CHL Playoffs during this historic 20th Anniversary season," said Bryan Lewis, CHL Referee-In-Chief. "They have all worked very hard and done an exemplary job throughout the season and I am confident they are prepared and excited to work on the league's biggest stage."
