
Omaha Vipers Signs Forward Shaun David and Defender Aurinei

(Omaha) - The Omaha Vipers added another forward and another defender today to the roster. Signed today:
SHAUN DAVID - A 5'6" forward, from Oakland, California comes from the league championship LaRaZa team with an impressive record as the MISL Player of the Week, February 15, 2010 with a hat trick in the first half and a 3 point goal late in the game. Before playing for LaRaZa, David played with the Texas Outlaws. In seven games Shaun has led the Outlaws in both goals and assists with 11 goals and 10 assists. With his speed and power, he opened up the game for the Outlaws and also gave his teammates numerous opportunities to score. An acrobatic player, David has been known to do backflips after every goal scored.
Aurinei "CHICO" Parisotto - A 6' defender from Chapeco, Brazil comes most recently from the Milwaukee Wave where he played from 2007-2010. Prior to that, the 33 year old played in professional outdoor leagues, beginning at the age of 17 in Brazil, Panama and Portugal from 1999-2007. In addition to being a player, he will be an assistant coach to head coach, Marcelo Fontana.
The Omaha Vipers are the MISL's newest franchise and will begin play November 21, 2010 vs. Missouri (Kansas City) Comets at 3:05pm at the Omaha Civic Auditorium. Season tickets are now on-sale at 402.932.3335 or on-line at www.omahavipers.com . The 12 game package can be purchased for $96 up to $216 (a 15% savings) - a twenty-five dollar (per ticket) deposit will hold your tickets until November 1st.
