Omaha Nighthawks News Release

OMAHA, Sept. 20 - The Omaha Nighthawks will open training camp Friday, Sept. 21. Camp will run through Sunday, Sept. 23.

Practices are open to the public and will be held from 11:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Salvation Army Kroc Center.

"We're pleased that all of our guys have arrived safely, and we're looking forward to getting our offense, defense and special teams schemes put in and getting on the field for a game a week from Friday," said head coach Bart Andrus.

Andrus is confident that his team will be ready to go when the Nighthawks open their season in Sacramento on Sept. 28.

"We feel really good about this group of players," Andrus said. "It's a fairly young, intelligent group. We're not only looking forward to our season opener on the 28th, but we also have our eye on the home opener here in Omaha on Oct. 12."
