Old Glory DC News Release

Old Glory DC & The Women's Club of Great Falls Scholarship Fund is pleased to announce a partnership based on the two organizations' common core values of education and community. Representatives from both groups came together on March 26, 2022, in Leesburg, VA, in celebration of International Women's History Month to honor the winner of the "With Her" Award, Margaret Dessypris Thomas.

During the event, the gift of a silent auction package was jointly announced. This package - the first of its kind in the history of Old Glory - features six Owner's Box tickets to the Old Glory DC match at Segra Field on Sunday, May 29, 2022, including VIP Food and Drink. In addition, the winner will enjoy access to the team's luxury VIP section, which are the best tickets Segra Field has to offer, and a private meet & greet with Old Glory DC players and coaches on the pitch post-match.

Paul Sheehy, co-owner of Old Glory DC, commented: "This party package is one of the most fun ways to enjoy rugby in the United States, and we are delighted to support the Women's Club of Great Falls Scholarship Fund to provide financial assistance to students in Northern Virginia pursuing degrees in higher education."

To participate in this exciting auction, which will remain open to bidding until April 26, Sally Anne Andrew Pyne, Co-President, mentions, "For rugby lovers, this is your chance to be a part of a historic match and support a worthy cause. We look forward to your support."

All auction proceeds will go towards The Women's Club of Great Falls scholarship fund.
