
OHL Announces Disciplinary Action

Toronto, Ont. - The Ontario Hockey League (OHL) today announced the results of a review of an incident which took place in a game played in Sault Ste. Marie on Sunday, December 10th, 2023, involving the Greyhounds and the visiting London Knights.
The incident reviewed was a five-minute major penalty for checking to the head assessed to player Sawyer Boulton of the London Knights.
Based on a review of the incident, which resulted in direct contact to the head of a vulnerable opponent, resulting in injury, it is the position of the League that Boulton shall be suspended for ten (10) games, dating from but not including the game of Sunday, December 10th, 2023.
