
OHL Announces Disciplinary Action

Toronto, ON - The Ontario Hockey League today announced the results of a preliminary review of two separate incidents which took place in games played on Friday March 23, 2012.
The first incident took place in Game 2 of an OHL Eastern Conference Playoff game between the Ottawa 67's and the visiting Belleville Bulls Hockey Club. The incident reviewed was a match penalty assessed to player Marc Zanetti of the Ottawa 67's for spearing during the pre-game warm-up. Based on a preliminary review, player Marc Zanetti shall be suspended indefinitely pending the completion of the league review.
The second incident took place in Game 1 of an OHL Western Conference Playoff game between the Kitchener Rangers and the visiting Owen Sound Attack Hockey Club. The incident reviewed was a check to the head by player Tyler Randell of the Kitchener Rangers. Based on a preliminary review, player Tyler Randell shall be suspended indefinitely pending the completion of the league review.
