
Offseason Report: Killion, Adelaide United Score Big Win in Australia W-League Play

While the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) offseason occurs, a handful of Sky Blue FC players have made the move overseas to continue developing their game in international competition. Throughout the NWSL offseason, we will keep you updated with the latest news and developments with our players.
In Australia W-League play, Sky Blue FC midfielder Sarah Killion and Adelaide United exploded for five goals in a 5-1 victory over Newcastle Jets, with the 2015 NWSL College Draft first round pick making the start and playing a full 90 minutes. With the win, Adelaide United improved its record to 3-3-3 and moved into fourth place on the W-League table.
Perth Glory was blanked by Melbourne City in W-League action, falling by a result of 4-0. In the match, Sky Blue FC teammates Caitlin Foord and Nikki Stanton played the entire game after being in the Starting XI. Perth now owns a record of 2-5-2 and sits in the eighth spot in the Westfield standings.
